At 5:45 a.m. on 15 January 2014, the first formation of the semester for Charlie Company was signaled. It had been five weeks since the last PT session. Cadet Michelle Kramlich was the platoon sergeant for the first leadership rotation of the semester, and as a welcome-back “present” she created a rigorous physical training (PT) session. The result was at least five to seven Cadets doubled-over with “joy” and numerous others in lingering soreness. On the whole though, Charlie Company Cadets are maintaining good attitudes and a high esprit de corp. The semester looks promising as many Cadets are putting forth a good effort and helping out their battle buddies. Charlie Company ended last semester with a 277 (out of 300) company PT average and plans to meet and exceed that score by the end of this semester. Already Cadets are taking extra steps to prepare for the first diagnostic Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) on 5 February, either with personal workout plans or remedial physical training with Cadet Sergeant Major (SGM) Richard Warren. Hooah Charlie Company!
